Fortnite Battle Royale Is Headed To iOS and Android
1 min readEpic Games is at it again with the awesome announcements, and this time they dropped a doozy. Epic announced that Fortnite will soon be headed to iOS and Android devices. Fortnite’s popularity is at an all-time high, and it only makes sense for developers to capitalize on it by bringing the game to mobile. In what may be the biggest part of the announcement is the fact that Epic is planning on making the game completely cross-platform. That means no matter what device you’re on, you’ll be able to play with your friends on PS4, Xbox, PC or mobile. Same gameplay, same maps, same content.
Epic will begin the sign-up process this Monday, March 12th to those who have an iOS device. To sign-up, you must head to THIS WEBSITE, to request an invite. To participate, you will need an internet connection and iOS 11 on at least an iPhone 6S/SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017 devices. Players who receive invites from Epic will also get friend invite codes to share with others. Android devices will be able to sign-up in the coming months.
