Fallout 4 Announcement Is Happening Soon

Hold on to your hats kiddies! Bethesda has apparently begun a countdown to the next major Fallout announcement. Hours ago, the Fallout homepage was converted to a ‘Please Stand By’ message, accompanied by a countdown timer residing around the 18-hour mark. Fans of Fallout have been clamoring for new info on the upcoming title, and considering how well Fallout 3 did, I’m sure whatever this announcement is will be met with a fever pitch.

There’s been a ton of rumors about Fallout 4, and while we still don’t know much about the game just yet, this announcement is the perfect way to kick off E3. The recently released ‘The Witcher 3′ has sort of slotted into Fallout’s place since the last release was way back in 2008. Gamers have been heaping praise on the Witcher, and I have to wonder if Bethesda and Co. have some serious competition now. This also marks Bethesda’s first official foray into next-gen gaming with the power of the PS4 and Xbox One, and I’m curious to see what kind of graphical upgrades they’ll have instituted this time around.

Either way, we still have a whole day to find out what’s in store. One thing’s for sure, our Wednesday just got a hell of a lot more interesting.
