Marvel unveiled the trailer for Captain America: Civil War last night and it looks amazing. The Civil War storyline was one of the biggest in Marvel’s history as it forced our favorite superheroes to pick a side for or against a registration act. At the forefront of the conflict is Tony Stark, who wants heroes to have to register with a government program that unveils their secret identities, while opposing that viewpoint is Captain America. In the comics, Spiderman played a huge central role as he was still being “recruited” by both sides. From the looks of the trailer, Spiderman may not play as prominent a part, because this story looks to revolve around the government capturing Cap’s best friend Bucky Barnes.
The trailer is action packed and it looks like there will be plenty of destruction, and maybe even a double cross. In one of the more intense scenes we get to see War Machine with his visor busted open, being held by Iron Man. There’s also a very quick peek at Black Panther! Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for that one! Check out the trailer below, and brace yourself for the biggest conflict in Marvel history headed to theaters on May 6th.
So, Marvel has done it again. I will be in theaters watching this movie on opening weekend. Why they have to double team my boy Tony Starks like that? This revived my inner nerd. Thanks for sharing guys.
