Brock Lesnar To Face Undertaker At Hell In A Cell

1 min read

Just announced on the Night Of Champions PPV on WWE Network, Brock Lesnar and Undertaker will have their third match inside a Hell In A Cell. This isn’t the first time the two have squared off in the Hell In A Cell, as the two faced off back in 2002 for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Brock walked away victorious in that outing, but it set the stage for several more matches between the two. This match will conclude what WWE is dubbing Brock Lesnar’s “Go To Hell” tour, which will also include a match against Big Show at Madison Square Garden and an appearance on the Stone Cold Podcast. Given the proximity of this match, I’d have to assume that this will not be the conclusion to their rivalry, and we can expect to see one to two more matches between the two.

WWE is surely looking to fully capitalize on the momentum of this feud, as they almost never announce matches this early. Be that as it may, I’m excited to see the direction this goes in, and who knows, if this does end up being the rubber match, maybe we’ll get to see Taker and Sting at next year’s Wrestlemania after all. Check out their encounter from WWE No Mercy 2002 below:
