I’m not ashamed to admit that Ash vs Evil Dead is one of my guilty pleasure TV shows. It’s always mind numbingly awesome, hilarious, and the gore is over the top. In addition to those reasons, I also appreciate how Bruce Campbell and company have once again reinvented a fan favorite franchise. They’ve managed to keep the core spirit of the original movies alive, while modernizing the concept for today’s audiences. After enjoying two successful seasons on Starz, the show is back for more. And in season 3 Bruce Campbell will face unspeakable danger in his next adventure.

Ash, Pablo, and Kelly will all be returning, and will look for normalcy after finally defeating their biggest challenge yet at the end of season 2. But of course, the more things change, the more they stay the same and Ash is faced with a brand new threat. He’s not only going to have to tangle with the most gnarly deadites to date, but he’s also going to have to wrangle with fatherhood as well. That’s right, Ashley J. Williams is a father. For season 3, Ash will meet his estranged daughter Brandy, which comes at a curious time as he’d just lost his father halfway through season 2.

Curiously enough, it looks like we’ll also see more of Pablo and Kelly this season as well. In the trailer, Pablo appears to be exploring his newly discovered powers while Kelly gets body snatched by a demon. This season looks more promising than any other before it. I can’t wait to check it out and see exactly what kind of shenanigans Ash and crew get into. Ash vs Evil Dead will air its season 3 premiere Sunday February 25th. Hail to the king, baby.
