Chris Evans Gives Up A Few Crucial Details About Avengers: Infinity War
2 min readThe Marvel dynasty continues to roll along, with some pretty heavy promo surrounding Friday’s release of Avengers: Age Of Ultron. During an interview with Esquire, Captain America himself, Chris Evans dropped some pretty solid details about his life in Marvel, how he plans to spend his downtime, and what the next few years of his life will look like. The interview is a really good read, but perhaps the biggest gem from the interview comes when Chris starts to talk about how his life is planned out though 2019. He drops some info about the Avengers: Infinity War shooting schedule, and how both films will shoot back to back which means the releases will most likely happen back to back as well. Evans went on saying:
You know, you plan around the Marvel responsibilities. You have to. We start [Captain America: Civil War] in a couple weeks, and then that shoots until August or something like that. August or September. Then I’ve got some downtime and I can do with it as I please. I don’t know if I want to take time off or go pursue another directing job or find a movie to act in or, you know, do whatever I’m creatively inclined to pursue or wait, relax, enjoy my life. And then we start the Infinity War, I think, some time in the third quarter. Fall or winter of 2016. That’s going to be like nine months to shoot both movies back to back.
I’m already super excited for Age Of Ultron, but knowing that we’re even closer to more details about the Infinity War is even more thrilling.
