Elimination Chamber Predictions

3 min read

What’s up guys! We’re mere minutes away from the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and I figured I’d drop in with a few quick predictions for tonight’s card.

Neville v Bo Dallas:

These guys have an amazing history dating all the way back to their days at NXT. While Bo does pose a credible threat to the new sensation, I’m calling for Neville to walk away with the win thanks to the red arrow.

Winner: Neville

Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber; The New Day v Los Matadores v Kidd & Cesaro v The Prime Time Players v The Ascension v The Lucha Dragons:

This one will probably walk away with the honor of being match of the night. With so many combustible elements, I’d expect there to be quite a few high spots in this one. Expect to see Kidd and Cesaro put on an absolute clinic, and the Lucha Dragons will fly all over the place. In the end, The New Day will retain the titles.

Winners: The New Day

John Cena v Kevin Owens:

This one is one that I’m truly hard pressed to pick a definitive winner with. John Cena continues to impress since he’s been US Champ, and he’s been making everyone look good with his US Title Open Challenge. Kevin Owens showed up and totally wrecked shop, and has continued to do so. He capped off an amazing debut by winning the NXT Title after only being on the roster for two months, so someone, somewhere has faith in this kid. I think this match may very well end in some sort of screwy double DQ finish, or a countout in order to protect both competitors.

Winner: Draw

Divas Championship Triple Threat Match Naomi v Paige v Nikki Bella:

I figured this match would happen, but I thought WWE would hold off until Summerslam to pull the trigger. Each lady has a viable beef with one another, as they’ve all been involved with each other since the Royal Rumble. Hopefully these ladies get enough time to have an excellent match, and if so expect to see the best Divas title match you’ve seen in a while. I’m thinking Nikki holds on to the title for a while longer though.

Winner: Nikki Bella

Intercontinental Championship Elimination Chamber Match; Sheamus v Dolph Ziggler v Ryback v Wade Barrett v R- Truth v ???

This one will also be pretty good, but I don’t expect to see as many high spots as the tag title bout. One unique wild card to this match is the very untimely injury to Rusev, who was also slated to compete. WWE went on to reveal that his replacement is a “former World Champion” so I’m thinking they’re either going to swap in Randy Orton, The Big Show, The Miz, or Jack Swagger will make his return tonight. Either way, whoever subs in for Rusev, still won’t stop the eventual Intercontinental Title reign of Sheamus.

Winner: Sheamus

World Heavyweight Championship Match; Dean Ambrose v Seth Rollins:

Two former members of The Shield main eventing what could be the second best PPV of the year? I’ll take it. Not much to build up here, Seth and Dean put on a pretty solid main event match way back at Hell In A Cell last October, so I fully expect them to repeat tonight. I don’t foresee Seth getting the win cleanly though, and part of me believes that Roman Reigns will play a role in the outcome of this match. When all’s said and done, Seth will still be champion.

Winner: Seth Rollins
