Evil Dead Remake Gets An Extremely Gruesome Trailer

Again with the remakes Hollywood. This time around, one of my all time favorites has received the remake treatment to bring new life to what is, in my opinion, an untouchable classic. The Evil Dead franchise is one of my favorites from the horror genre. It was one of the first franchises that perfectly blended the unimaginable horror of being trapped alone in the woods, with the over the top dark comedy of Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell. Fast forward to the 2013 version of Evil Dead, and this time around the producers have taken the bar that was set by the original and hurled it to the side. Watching the trailer actually made me cringe at times, as the brutality and gore levels even in the red band trailer are insane.
