Fortnite Is Now Available For Nintendo Switch

1 min read

Epic Games’ smash hit free-to-play shooter, Fortnite is officially available on the Nintendo Switch. The game became available to download on Switch consoles as of 12pm EST today, and was announced during Nintendo’s E3 presentation. As of writing, Fortnite is still the number one Battle Royale game, and with availability continuing to grow, it will remain in the top spot for the foreseeable future. Fortnite allows players to drop into a field of up to 100 players and either battle for solo or team supremacy.

While Fortnite is headed to the Nintendo Switch, it will largely remain the same game. This is a bit of a bummer, as I would love to see some Nintendo exclusive skins from their extensive character library. Be that as it may, a Nintendo Switch version of Fortnite is sounding really awesome. I’d imagine there’s going to be an influx of players seeing as how Nintendo is also enjoying record sales on the back of the Switch.

Fortnite is also headed to Android devices this summer. It’s also currently available on Playstation 4, Xbox, PC, and iOS.
