Greg Nicotero Rebooting ‘Creepshow’ For Shudder

1 min read

What was once a cult-classic movie made by Stephen King, will now be a brand new horror anthology. Famed special effects artist and gore king, Greg Nicotero is rebooting Creepshow for streaming service Shudder. The show will feature 12 all-new original stories, from an all-star cast of actors and actresses. Set to premiere in September, Creepshow will undoubtedly be one of the best new series to debut on the up and coming horror streaming service.

The original movie featured tales of suspense and terror and rose to prominence after flopping in theaters. Nicotero’s show will do most of the same, bringing an updated, modernized version of Creepshow to screens across the world for a new generation of horror fans. Episodes will feature DJ Qualls, Giancarlo Esposito, Big Boi, Adrienne Barbeau, and Tobin Bell to name a few. The show is set to debut on September 26, only on Shudder.

Update: Got our shows mixed up. Creepshow wasn’t a TV show in the ’90s as originally stated in the article! Thanks for the catch Kristopher!
