Disney finally dropped the trailer for their upcoming ‘Willow’ series, starring original fan favorite Warwick Davis. The Disney+ series will be a continuation of the story from the original movie. The movie starred Warwick Davis as Willow Ufgood, a young farmer who gets chosen to protect an extraordinary child from falling into the hands of an evil queen.
While there’s not much known about the new series as of writing, we do know WIllow is set to undertake a brand new adventure with a new set of allies. This time around, Willow will be enlisted to help the daughter of his old friend Sorsha as she searches for her twin brother.
The cast will Include Warwick Davis as Willow, alongside franchise newcomers Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, Ellie Bamber, Tony Revolori, Amer Chadha-Patel, and Dempsey Brik. It was also announced during the Star Wars Celebration last week that Joanna Whalley would also be joining the series, reprising her role as Sorsha. Warwick Davis and Disney producer Jonathan Kasdan also announced the famed swordsman Madmartigan will play a “big role” in the series, even without the physical presence of actor Val Kilmer.
‘Willow’ will debut on Disney+ on November 30th. Check out the trailer below:
