Kurt Russell Confirmed For Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2 began production this week, and along with the first official cast photo, comes some official casting news as well. This casting news is a bit surprising, but also super awesome as veteran actor Kurt Russell has been confirmed to have a role in the sequel.
In addition to the returning faces from the first film, Russell is the first big name to be revealed from the set. There’s been no word on his role just yet, but I’m guessing we just found out the main villain, or Star Lord’s dad.
We still have a ways to go, as the movie doesn’t release until May 2017, but this is still pretty big news.
