NoiseHush NX-70 Review

The NoiseHush NX-70 is a multimedia headset designed for communication across several devices, including cellphones, and laptop computers. Sporting a swiveling boom mic, and comfort fit ear cushion the NX-70 is a pretty solid headset that feels comfortable while wearing. We mainly used the NX-70 for gaming and online chat, and it worked about average. The sound quality was actually very very good, but we did have some issues with microphone clarity and feedback.

The NX-70 isn’t one of your higher end headsets, as the entire body is made of plastic, and the ear covering takes me back to the old school headphone covers from the early 90’s. The swiveling microphone comes in handy, as it allows for users to switch sides of the head based on listening preference. The only reason this is relevant is because the NoiseHush NX-70 is a mono headset. Having only one earpiece puts the NX-70 at a slight disadvantage compared to other “multimedia headsets.”

There are a few bonuses to using this headset, such as the extra adapters to plug into different devices and the answer button with scrolling volume wheel on the adapter cable. In my mind, the ideal user for the Noisehush would be hardcore gamers who don’t mind the cable, truckers, or someone who wants that “drive thru” worker appearance while talking on the phone.

Available now from Wireless Ground, the NoiseHush NX-70 can be all yours for the super affordable price of $17 bucks.
