One of he worst things that can happen to a game is to have it suffer multiple delays. Yet, that’s exactly what happening to one of the most highly anticipated releases in years. Rock Star Games ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ has been delayed until October. Initially, the game was supposed to launch in Fall of 2017, was then pushed back to Spring of 2018, and now we’re looking at October 26th, 2018. This is definitely bad news for gamers who were hoping to get their hands on this release soon.
Rockstar apologized to fans on their blog today, saying “We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it. In the meantime, please check out these screenshots from the game. We look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks.
While the apology is a nice touch, seeing an actual release date attached to it makes it all the better. I for one can’t wait to finally get my hands on this game, but I guess for now, wishful thinking and screenshots are all we’ll get. You can check those out below, and let us know what you think about yet another delay for Red Dead 2.
