Square Enix And Marvel Could Be Making The Best Avengers Game Ever

The Avengers game of our lifetime could finally be happening thanks to Square Enix and Marvel. The short teaser trailer features items from our favorite super heroes scattered about after an intense battle.

The narration sounds dark, almost ominous in tone, and makes reference to the world always needing super heroes. From there, we find Thor’s hammer, Cap’s Shield, and an arm from one of Tony Starks Iron Man suits all strewn about. The closing words from the teaser stand out in particular because there’s mention of the team needing to reassemble. If I had to assume, I’d think there will be some dissention among the ranks that causes a split in the team. 

Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics will be working with Marvel to help develop the upcoming Avengers game. If those names sound familiar, it’s because those are the same studios responsible for several games in the Tomb Raider series, as well Deus Ex. Details for the upcoming title are scarce, but I am super hype to see more of it!
