The ‘IT’ Official Trailer Will Give You Nightmares

The first official trailer from the upcoming horror film ‘IT’ has finally arrived. This is the first inkling of new footage we’ve seen since the first teaser trailer dropped in March. The trailer showcases more of what the kids from Derry, Maine will truly be up against. This is the second adaptation of Stephen King’s terrifying novel of the same name, which follows a group of children who are traumatized by a demon clown. ‘IT’ technically laid the groundwork for several different horror projects including most recently, Netflix’s monster hit series, ‘Stranger Things.’
‘IT’ takes place in the late 80’s in a small town named Derry. It follows the story of children who encounter a shape-shifting demon, that most popularly disguises itself as a clown. After Derry suffers an epidemic of missing children cases, tension within the town rises to an all time high. The children are not only forced to face the demented clown, but also battle their own personal demons as well.
