The Punisher Officially Joins The Netflix Family

Following a massive wave of popularity after his debut in season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil, Jon Bernthal will bring his Punisher character to Netflix in his own standalone series. Netflix is already home to Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders, and reigning in The Punisher brings their Marvel series total to six.
The series show runner will be Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal), with no other word on additional casting details. Check out the official teaser video below for the official announcement.
