That was the year the WarCraft movie was supposed to go into development. Fans across the globe collectively lost their minds as they’d finally be able to see their gaming adventures come to life on the big screen. Some ten years later, we’ll finally get to see the finished product of that project, as the first trailer for the film was released this weekend. The plot essentially tells the origin story of the conflict between the Humans and the Orcs, and the battle that takes place on Azeroth. Faced with near extinction, the Orcs leave their homeworld of Draenor in search of a new dwelling, they travel into Azeroth with the help of a portal that links their two worlds. This leads to the leaders of the Humans and Orcs forced to make a decision that will determine the future of their species.
