The King of Pop left a huge mark on the music industry, and it continues to grow more and more each year because of his influence on several artists. Unfortunately MJ passed before social networking giants Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus could expand his reach even further than it was before. But imagine, for a second, if we had the chance to see Michael’s career grow and flourish in front of us through the same means we see big records being broken today. Would Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” still have been the biggest album of all time had he had to worry about internet bootleggers, and the dreaded internet leak that plagues so many artists today?

Atlanta/New Orleans production team Th_Basterds gives us a look at what could’ve been, had Michael Jackson been around for the explosion of social networking, and their take on how his career would’ve taken off with the aid of the internet.
