YouTube is continuing their highly aggressive expansion of their streaming TV service. Today they announced YouTube TV is available is 34 additional markets, bringing the total to 83. YouTube TV is the latest streaming service vying for your attention, competing with the likes of Hulu, Netflix, and AT&T’s DirecTV Now. As more and more people start to drift away from the traditional cable offerings of Comcast, DirecTV, and Charter, these streaming services will become more and more prevalent.

YouTube TV offers a pretty solid channel selection with plans starting at $35/month. Locals are included, and the selection of locals will depend on the area you live in. There’s also a plethora of network channels including ESPN, AMC, FXX, Disney XD, and Syfy to name a few. In terms of overall channel lineup, YouTube TV definitely has one of the more impressive options available.  There’s also the option for a cloud DVR service with unlimited storage, and 6 accounts per household included.

There’s a 7 day free trial running right now at the sign up page, so head on over there to take advantage of it. We’re gonna test it out ourselves, so stay tuned for the full review!
