Deadpool 2 Trailer Is Equal Parts Intensity And Insanity
2 min readI just got to check out the trailer for Deadpool 2, and it’s amazingly awesome. The trailer starts off with Deadpool running away from an angry mob (one that I can only assume he pissed off) and sets the tone for the rest of the trailer. In it, we get to see a ton of Cable, Domino, and the revelation that we will, indeed get to see X-Force in Deadpool 2.
The immediate concern with the sequel, was whether or not the franchise would be able to keep up the originality of the first. The trailer quickly dismisses that notion, and shows that we could actually see a sequel that is EVEN BETTER than the first, which is a rarity in and of itself. Every single thing that made the original great appears to have been amplified here, including the amount of X-Men characters we’ll see. Perhaps the most hilarious moment from the trailer (hopefully it translates to the movie), is when Deadpool is seen momentarily spinning in Professor X’s Wheelchair.
Cable looks to be super badasss, and will command every scene he’s in apparently. Josh Brolin (Who also plays Thanos) plays the mechanical mercenary, and will no doubt be a bigger threat than Ajax was in the original. This is also teased within the trailer as we see Cable get the better of Deadpool with relative ease.
At the center of their conflict, is a gifted child whom Cable is hunting and Deadpool will have to protect. There’s been nothing specific mentioned about the child, but if I were a betting man, I’d say he’s going to be an integral part of the conclusion of this film.
Deadpool 2 is being used as the launching pad for the stand-alone ‘X-Force’ movie, while a third Deadpool film has already been green-lit. Check out the trailer below!
