Netflix Releases Teaser Trailer For Season 2 Of ‘The Punisher’

Frank Castle is all set to return for a second season in the critically acclaimed Netflix series, ‘The Punisher.’ Jon Bernthal will once again don the black and black, and deliver his brand of vigilante justice.

In the trailer, we see a dark figure finish off a shot, and then burn a pardon that Frank Castle earned at the end of season one. While it could be a mysterious new enemy, one has to assume that dark figure is none other than Castle himself. Season two of The Punisher will serve to further the narrative of Castle’s quest for revenge, but there’s been no indication that his story will continue beyond this season. Netflix has been killing Marvel shows left and right, and it only makes sense for them to put a bow on the Punisher series as well.

The teaser trailer was revealed by Marvel themselves during the early morning on New Year’s Day. Marvel also tweeted and subsequently deleted a tweet which contained the release date for season two. According to the tweet, fans can expect the second season of ‘The Punisher’ to drop on January 18th. Check out the teaser below!
