Board Game Spotlight: The Great Heartland Hauling Co.
1 min readBy Rob Boggan
Looking for an exciting new game to add to your growing library of board games? Look no further than the new release from Jason Kotarski and Dice Hate Me Games, The Great Heartland Hauling Co. Taking an awesome mix of strategy, and turn based card play, Heartland Hauling makes the perfect small party game. Designed for two to four players, the game progresses with players taking turns navigating the Midwest region on a quest to be the most efficient trucker. This is accomplished by keeping your collection of goods and services most profitable and the winner is the first player to reach 50 points for 2 players, 40 points for 3 players, or 30 points for 4 players.
All in all, there are four (4) different freights (Soy Beans, Cattle, Pigs, Corn), one (1) main distribution center, and twelve (12) location cards, that are at play in the game, and obviously the amount of players dictates how the game is played. There are also different variations to the game that players can choose to enact to increase the level of difficulty or overall length of each game.
Definitely be sure to check out more info on the game, and to back the kickstarter project RIGHT HERE.
The Great Heartland Hauling Co. is scheduled for a January 2013 release date.
