Fortnite Season 3 Delayed Again
1 min readGamers waiting to dive into the next season of Fortnite will have to wait a while longer. Epic Games announced today that Season 3 of Fortnite has been delayed again. Originally scheduled to debut on June 4th, Season 3 will instead be available to download on June 11th.
The studio released an update on their blog, along with some extra details about what’s happening next.
They stated, “In an effort to get everything ready for Chapter 2 – Season 3, we’re extending Season 2 by one week. The new launch day of Season 3 will be Thursday, June 11. Also, make sure to check out a one-time-only live event called The Device, now scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at 2 PM ET (please show up 30 minutes early to help secure your spot, space is limited!).
While there’s been no official word on what’s causing the delay, this isn’t all bad news for Fortnite fans. There’s now an extra week to complete those challenges you haven’t got to finish yet. This is also a sign that Epic is focused on ironing out any wrinkles in Season 3 before releasing it.
