Google Play Music App Now Available For iOS

After months and months of waiting, and several terrible client apps later, Google has finally released the Google Play Music app for iOS. Bringing with it basic access to Google Play Music All Access, along with the ability to play any song currently stored in your music library, Play Music provides yet another music service into an already over saturated market. I downloaded the app to my iPhone and it works pretty well, on the iPad…… Not so much. In fact the app is, for the time being, made only for iPhone and iPod so aesthetically it looks horrible on the iPad.

Music playback works as expected, but you can’t purchase songs from within the app. Not a deal breaker seeing as how you can simply purchase the song from within iTunes, but still a bit of a drag. Check it out for yourselves if you already have a Google Play Music account.
