HBO Go Review

For those who love on the go access to their favorite shows, HBO just threw you a major bone. Introducing HBO Go, a free app available on iOS and Android devices that does just that. With access to over 1,400 episodes of your favorite series there is definitely no shortage of content. We really fell in love with the app once we got it going(it force closed twice on us while using our HTC Inspire 4G), and streaming quality was actually beautiful. Streaming content is allowed via 3G, 4G, or Wi-Fi connections, but for convenience and time’s sake we’d strongly recommend you use the latter. In fact, the only requirement for using this app is that you’re a current HBO subscriber and is actually addressed as soon as you access the main site, or download the app onto your devices. Features on HBO Go are very minimal as the app itself is still in infancy, but we really loved the fact that you could add content into your “watchlist” to set-up a queue like viewing experience. HBO Go is definitely an awesome app and we can’t wait to see where it goes from here.
If you’re an HBO subscriber, head on over to the HBO Go main site and get to streaming, or download the app from the Android Market or iOS App Store using the links below.
