Apple is known for its privacy and security practices, and with iOS 14 they are doubling down on ensuring they have the most secure OS on the planet. This starts with transparency for the apps that you might want to download onto your devices. With iOS 14, apps will now come with full privacy information disclosures so you’ll know how the app will use your data BEFORE you download it.

Apple is also rolling out something they’ve dubbed “sign in with Apple.” At its core, sign in with Apple works like a unification service. It’ll allow you to merge the logins you use with participating apps, to your AppleID. This means you’ll gain the security of things like FaceID and two-factor authentication, without having to remember yet another password.

Safari will also gain the ability to monitor your passwords and make sure the ones you use haven’t been found in any data breaches. This is done by Apple using similar derivations of your passwords and checking them against ones found in breaches. Simple, secure, and helpful.
