Ring Is Releasing A Security Camera Drone That Can Fly Around Your House

Today, Ring announced one of its most insanely awesome products to date. They’re calling it the Always Home Cam, and it’s a security camera drone that can fly around your house. The main idea behind this kind of tech is based on a relatively simple premise: being able to see more of your house, without the use of multiple cameras. Users can set the drone to patrol any room in their house while they’re away.

As you can see, The Always Home Cam definitely gets the job done without you needing to do much of anything. The drone itself is completely autonomous and has the ability to detect walls and other obstacles in your home. Perhaps the coolest feature from the Always Home Cam is the Live video the drone captures mid-flight.

The Always Home Cam will drop next year, and is expected to retail at $249.99.
