Stranger Things Season 4 Won’t Debut Until 2022
1 min readFans of the smash-hit Netflix series Stranger Things will have to wait a little while longer before the fourth season debuts. Stranger Things posted a short teaser trailer to their YouTube channel confirming that new episodes of the series won’t debut until 2022. This leaves a substantial gap between seasons, and the teaser trailer adds to the anticipation for new episodes.
Season three may have been the most intense season yet, leaving fans with several unanswered questions by the end. After destroying the hidden lab beneath the new Starcourt Mall, Eleven and the gang try to return to normal life (again), while Hopper is assumed dead. During a post-credit scene, we’re shown a Russian prison where a captive ends up getting fed to a Demogorgon, while the troops abstain from doing the same to an un-named American captive. We later find out that this American is Hopper himself who appears to be alive and mostly well.
The Season 4 sneak peek doesn’t add much more to the equation but does tease a new, more powerful monster that the kids will have to deal with. There’s no official release date for Season 4, but next year is already looking pretty interesting with the return of Stranger Things.
