1 min readOne of the most beloved characters in the entirety of Star Wars lure is getting his own series this year. ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ is slated to start streaming on Disney+ beginning December 29th. The show will cast veteran actors Temeura Morrison as Boba Fett, and Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, Fett’s partner.
The series will take place during the same timeline as The Mandalorian but will showcase an original storyline for the duo. While not confirmed, the series is said to take place between the events of The Empire Strikes Back, and season two of The Mandalorian.
The show will follow Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, as they try to run the territory once controlled by Fett’s former boss, Jabba The Hut. The series was first teased at the end of the season two finale of The Mandalorian and fans have been waiting for an official announcement ever since.
The trailer looks awesome and does an excellent job of establishing Fett as the new kingpin of a dark and gritty criminal underworld.
