WWE Announces WWE Network
2 min readJust moments ago at CES, WWE announced the impending launch of their long-rumored WWE Network. This comes as no surprise as WWE has been looking for ways to expand their library into homes, and I will admit, this is one of the most impressive sounding collections ever available. For starters, EVERY WWE, WCW, and ECW Pay Per View, will be available for streaming, along with past TV tapings of Monday Night RAW, Smackdown, Monday Nitro, and so on.
In addition to the PPVs available, WWE will also be bringing their talent developmental program, NXT along to the network as well. NXT offers viewers a first look at the superstars of WWE’s future, live from Full Sail University in Florida. The program is currently offered as an exclusive to HULU Plus subscribers, but will soon be available on the WWE Network.
The biggest advantage to the WWE Network will be the inclusion of all, that’s right all 12 of the WWE’s PPV events at no additional charge. The network will launch at $9.99 a month, which is a tremendous deal considering 3 HD PPVs alone would run about $150, with Wrestlemania running about $70 by itself. Now, you have the opportunity to watch all of them for about $120 a year. Hell of a deal.
All content will be available on PCs, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Kindle Fire, and Android and iOS devices. All you need is to create a WWE.com account, register your credit card, and you’re all set. The WWE Network goes live right after Monday Night Raw goes off the air on February 24th.
I know I’m subscribing. Are you?
