Don’t Sleep On These Five QBs For Your Fantasy Draft
4 min readNo. 3: Baker Mayfield, Carolina Panthers
Just announced as the QB1 for the Panthers, Baker might be the most interesting name on this list. Baker Mayfield is a highly polarizing figure, and in the NFL there’s a love him or hate him divide amongst fans. The problem is people’s personal opinions of him dilute the fact that he’s a good QB. Now that he’s out of the Crowded AFC north, he has a chance to shine as part of the NFC South. He has the weapons in Christian McCaffrey, DJ Moore, and Robby Anderson. Sure, he’s coming off an abysmal season with the Browns, but let’s not forget, that he was injured, and the year prior he led the Browns to the playoffs. Need more proof? In his last fully healthy season, he finished top 10 in QBR, stacked up 3,500 passing yards, 26 TDs, and 8 picks. He’s also getting to play his old team in WEEK ONE, so I expect him to come out the gates firing. Don’t be shy about drafting him.
