Just moments ago, via it’s official Twitter account, Google announced it’s scrappy young social network Google + is out of limited trial and available for public consumption. As long as you already have a Gmail account, you should be all set to start using the critically praised service, and you can finally stop badgering your buddy to share an invite with you. Well folks, what are you waiting for? Get to it!

UPDATE: Ok, as expected Google has been completely slammed with requests, so it won’t be as easy as it sounds to secure an invite and get your Google + on. Google has gone through and created a spreadsheet for hopefuls to drop their Google email addy into in hopes of snagging an invite, those that do are instructed to pass an invite along to those already on the list and so on, and so forth. Spreadsheet available HERE

Good luck to you all, and remember above all else, patience is the best policy!

We’ll keep you updated on the status of invites, as well as when the service goes fully available to the public

UPDATE II: In order to maintain privacy of users email addresses, the invite spreadsheet has since been pulled. In it’s place is a simple signup form. For those of you who NEED an invite, navigate your browser HERE to request one. Those of you who have invites available and are willing to share them, navigate HERE to help others get an invite.
