The Google Pixel 4a Is Already Sold Out On Amazon
1 min readWhile this could be a temporary thing, it’s still great news for Google and the latest Pixel phone. The Google Pixel 4a has completely sold out on Amazon. After a few short days of being available, the Pixel 4a is already outselling every other smartphone within its price point.
That’s no small feat as the mid-range Android handset market competition is extremely stiff. Despite having no shortage of competition, the Google Pixel 4a is exactly the type of phone you’d want at the price point it’s listed at. Google chose to shy away from premium build materials with the 4a and simply focus on providing users with a simple, yet powerful smartphone. That approach has obviously paid dividends and will likely result in the 4a being one of the year’s best releases.
With the “A” series of Pixels being more popular among smartphone buyers, one has to wonder how this will impact future Pixel releases. Could the days of the higher-end Pixel phone be drawing to a close? It’s unlikely, but if the mid-range Pixel devices continue to sell like this, the continued development of more expensive Pixel phones will be harder to justify.
