The Walking Dead’s Steven Yeun Just Got Hit With A Sick Burn Thanks To The Philadelphia Flyers

If you know anything about Steven Yeun, you know he’s very much a hometown boy. Born in Michigan, Yeun regularly takes to social media to show support for his hometown teams. With the 6th season of The Walking Dead officially over, Yeun has turned his attention to the ice. His beloved Detroit Red Wings are playing the Philadelphia Flyers tonight in a match that could have major playoff implications, and Yeun tweeted his support for the Red Wings. The Flyers must have a crack social media team, because their response was pure gold. Behold, the sickest of burns below:

For those of you who may not get the reference, The Flyers just directly cheered for the death of Yeun’s character on The Walking Dead. In the comics, it was Glenn who ended up being on the wrong side of Negan’s barbed-wire bat, Lucille. There’s still a possibility that it could’ve been Glenn, as the season ended in the most cliff-hangery way imaginable.

While we’ll have to wait until October to see if Glenn lives or dies, the flyers totally killed Steven Yeun tonight.
