‘Baron Mordo’ Cast For Upcoming Doctor Strange Film

Marvel’s Doctor Strange is slowly but surely coming together, and if this is true the film just added a major player. According to Deadline, Chiwetel Ejiofor will play Baron Mordo, one of Strange’s biggest enemies. Baron Mordo was an evil sorcerer who had powers that were essentially equal to those of Doctor Strange, making for some awesome spell, counter-spell showdowns in the comics.
If I were a betting man, I’d say the initial Doctor strange movie will play out a lot like the comics. Doctor Strange and Baron Mordo will be under the tutelage of The Ancient One, learning the secrets and art of dark magic. Mordo will then attempt to kill his teacher, and in turn setting off the classic struggle of ‘good vs evil’ once again.
Doctor Strange is set to hit theaters in November 2016.
