Game Of Thrones Teaser Reveals Season 7 Premiere Date
2 min readIt’s been a long hiatus for Game Of Thrones fans, but thankfully the end is near. HBO just released a season 7 trailer that reveals the premiere date, and sets the tone for this season. The short trailer shows all the sigils of the main houses erected in stone. There’s dialogue from seasons past, and they all echo the same thing. There’s a great war coming, and all houses will be involved.
When we last left Westeros, everything was in chaos and Cersei was doing her best impersonation of The Mad King. Daenerys was on her way to King’s Point, and Jon Snow was appointed the new King of The North. While the royal families are all preparing for war between each other, there’s an even larger threat lurking just beyond the wall.
We’ve been hearing winter is coming since the beginning of the series. It appears that it’s finally here and the White Walker army is rapidly descending upon Westeros. With the strongest fighters apparently headed to war, is there anything that could stop the White Walkers from unleashing complete and total chaos across the land?
Little Arya Stark has completed her assassin training and appears to be headed back to Winterfell. Whether or not she makes it remains up in the air, as there will be several obstacles in her way. One being the absolutely massive fleet of ships Daenerys and her army are occupying the waters with. Another being a certain Hound that has recently rediscovered his lust for revenge.
The seventh season of Game Of Thrones is set to premiere on July 16th on HBO. Producers have confirmed that this season will only contain seven episodes, so there will be a lot of story to be told. We’re likely winding down to the last few seasons of Game Of Thrones so expect things to take off at a breakneck pace. Check out the teaser trailer below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments!
