AT&T Enables FaceTime Over Cellular

AT&T iPhone owners finally have the ability to use FaceTime over cellular starting today. AT&T announced earlier that they plan to expand the FaceTime offering to subscribers that are on a tiered data plan, not just those on the new Mobile Share packages. Those who are grandfathered into older tiered packages are all set, while those who are still holding on to unlimited data, will still have to utilize Wi-Fi in order to use FaceTime. Another interesting caveat to this “expansion” is the fact that iPhone 4, and iPad 2 owners also get no love and will have to use Wi-Fi in order to use FaceTime.
