EA To Double Down On Star Wars Games
1 min readDuring the first day of E3, EA announced they had plans to expand their existing Star Wars universe tenfold. The game developer revealed a video promising ‘A Look Ahead’ which gave gamers a glimpse into the next generation of Star Wars games. The short video traverses across all of EA’s game studios, with the head of each studio offering a bit of info about their contributions to the new Star Wars games.
Justin McCully, GM for EA Star Wars is seemingly gushing at the development process behind these new games. He went on to say “EA is working directly with Lucas Films to cater to different areas of Star Wars, and create an experience that is tailor-made for Star Wars fans.” From the video, it appears DICE is working with Motive Studios to bring a VR version of Star Wars: Battlefront to PS4 and Xbox One owners, While Respawn appears to be working on a brand new entry into the Star Wars series.
