iPhone Exclusive To AT&T Until 2012? Looks That Way.

Remember when the iPhone launched and Apple and AT&T were oozing magical unicorn kisses about their partnership? Turns out that the fairy tale was scheduled in advance to last for five years. Yep, five years of AT&T-iPhone exclusivity. In a recent dig-a-thon of court documents, Engadget has officially discovered the contract pertaining to the rumor. Does this mean no iPhone after all for Verizon, Sprint & T-Mobile until at least 2012? Well, contracts were made to be broken, or at least modified. I wonder if there is a “network reliability” clause that would void the deal?
On the other hand, the recently lost, sold & reclaimed iPhone prototype had a micro SIM slot, and guess who has those?
