Pinterest Launches Official Android And iPad App

Android users who’ve been dying for a Pinterest fix are finally getting their prayers answered today, as the social sharing site has released version 1.0 for Android smartphones. All your self taught, do-it-yourself goodness is now at your fingertips, and “pinning” with friends, family, and everyone in between couldn’t get any easier. For those who aren’t in the know, Pinterest is essentially a social cork board that allows users to “pin” their interests i.e. photos, recipes, self fixes, etc. that other users can see, and share with their followers. iOS users can expect the same user experience with a face lift, and iPad owners can now officially join in on the fun as well.
