Samsung ATIV Odyssey Available From Verizon Starting Tomorrow

Verizon Wireless and Samsung announced today that the Samsung ATIV Odyssey, Samsung’s first US Windows 8 phone will be available for purchase starting tomorrow. The ATIV Odyssey, packs a mid range feature set, and a now standard pricing model for a Windows device. Packing 8GB of on board storage, an SD card slot expandable to 64GB, a 5MP rear camera, and a Super AMOLED display(800×480), the ATIV Odyssey fits in nicely with the Windows 8 lineup, but lacks the star quality to be a standout. Of course to be fair, I’m only looking at “on paper” specs, and the phone could end up being pretty sweet.

Guess we’ll have to wait for a review for final judgement. Available starting tomorrow online and stores for $49.99 with a 2 year contract. Check out the hands on video from CES below
