Three Reasons You Should Skip The iPhone 8

The iPhone 8 Will Still Be Playing Catch Up
One of the single most frustrating thing about being an Android user, is hearing an iPhone owner brag about a technology that been around for years. If the rumors pan out, the iPhone 8 will feature an edge to edge display, wireless charging and face tracking. For the average consumer, this sounds spectacular, but for a long time Android user, this all sounds like old news. Android phones have had the capability to charge wirelessly for about 4 years now. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 were both released earlier this year, sporting a nearly bezel-less display. Facial recognition has also been a part of Android devices for years. Samsung actually upped the ante last year, introducing an iris scanner for added device security. Sure, maybe Apple will find a way to integrate these technologies into their phones better, but by the time they do, Android phones will be on to entirely different features. So that begs the question: In what way is the iPhone truly superior than Android? If you were to ask me, I’d tell you they aren’t. I enjoy using devices that are looking forward into the future and not trying to perfect the past.
I think I am an iPhone for life guy but the 8 doesn’t seem that big enough of a deal to cop.
A lot of people are. I’ve tried to love the iPhone, but I simply cannot.
