We May Know Who Negan Didn’t Kill In The Walking Dead Finale

We may be one step closer to knowing who Negan killed in The Walking Dead. During a panel for IMDB, one of the newest Walking Dead cast members dropped a huge hint about the season 6 finale. It just so happened to come straight from the mouth of the guy swinging the bat, so if anyone would know, it’d totally be him. Now, as with all “spoilers” take this one with a grain of salt as the producers of The Walking Dead have gone great lengths to protect spoilers of any kind from leaking. It’s highly unlikely that one this big would let slip, so Jeffrey Dean Morgan could be expertly trolling us all. What I found particularly interesting though is the confidence in which he said “No one sitting here.” He didn’t seem to search for a quick way out, but rather expressed himself quickly and without hesitation.

I would assume if he were lying, or at least trolling Kevin Smith, he’d of been a bit more hesitant. Another thing to consider is the fact that both Scott Gimple and Greg Nicotero have said they were taking a “hard left turn” from the events in the comics. I’ve long thought that it would be Daryl that would get the bat, but he was sitting on stage during this event. So, if it’s not Glenn, not Rick, and not Daryl, who could it be? I may be way off in left field, but I’m starting to think it’ll be Maggie. She makes the most sense as Negan could see she’s in terrible health and kill her in an act of “mercy.” It could also be Abraham simply because he has a new outlook on life. If this show has taught us anything, it’s definitely don’t be positive.
