Google Play Music All Access Music Streaming Service Looks To Eat Spotify’s Lunch

Google has finally unveiled it’s long rumored music streaming service, and while the name is a mouthful, it will be a very capable service. Google Play Music All Access, will follow an extremely similar business model to Spotify, including price, but will look to set itself apart by being integrated with Google Play Music already installed on Android devices. For $9.99 a month Google promises to bring “radio without rules” to its already robust ecosystem, with a few tweaks aimed at optimizing the end user experience.
For starters, Google Play Music All Access will scan for local (on device) music, and make suggestions based off what you already have on your device. Much like it’s main competitor Spotify does, the music streaming service will also allow you to create new radio stations from artists and will not only play their top hits, but artists similar to them as well.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, then head on over to the Google Play Music main page, and sign up for an account. If you get started before June 30th, Google will allow you a specialized price of $7.99 a month.
