Since the transition to iOS 6 a few months ago, iPad users have been left in the dark without an official YouTube app. Google and Apple have finally turned on the lights for you all, and as of today have made the official YouTube app available for download for iPads. iPhone and iPod touch users have been graced with a YouTube app but functionality was a little less than stellar. With today’s release however, Google has improved on it’s previous model while also adding solid new features such as the ability to stream videos from your iDevice, into an Apple TV unit. The app also has more of an Android look/feel to it, as it pretty much mirrors what one would see from the YouTube app on an Android device.
Head on over to the Apple App Store to download the official YouTube app for you iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad.
