Here’s The First Full Trailer For Super Troopers 2

The trailer for the long-awaited sequel to Broken Lizard’s ‘Super Troopers 2’ just dropped, and it looks insanely hilarious. It’s been 17 long years since the original hit theaters and destroyed our funny bones. The film was panned critically, and didn’t do well in theaters. It began to receive new life upon its DVD released, and eventually reached cult classic status.

Super Troopers was centered around the exploits of a group of state troopers in the fictional town of Spurbury, Virginia near the US/Canadian border. The movie often bounced between the troopers messing with Spurbury residents in routine traffic stops and their conflict with the Spurbury Police Department. The movie shifts to a different tone when the troopers get framed for drug possession. They eventually discover that the local police are running protection for the real drug smugglers, and in the process rekindling the rivalry between the two departments.

The sequel returns us to Spurbury, and a brand new conflict as the troopers discover their state police post borders a bit too much on Canadian soil.  From the looks of the trailer, we’ll be treated to some of the same exploits that made the original so popular.
