5 Things WWE 2K16 Must Have To Be A Great Game
7 min readLast year’s WWE 2K wrestling simulation was widely panned by just about everyone who played it. The expectations were set way too high from the beginning, and unfortunately the final product was a tremendous step in the wrong direction.
There was missing game modes, wrestlers who should’ve been on the roster who weren’t, and inconsistencies with the character models that was laughable at times. With yesterday’s announcement that WWE Hall Of Famer and Attitude Era staple Stone Cold Steve Austin would be on this year’s cover, I was just as happy as I was suspicious. It’s awesome that we’re getting more Stone Cold, but does this mean that we’ll be getting even less game modes in return?
2K Games must makes sure that this year’s game is better than the last five to avoid even more gamer backlash. In order to do that, they can’t just simply reintroduce the same thing, and with a little more focus on experience and longevity, they could churn out WWE’s best game in years. Here’s what they need to include in order to ensure WWE 2K16 will be a hit amongst the loyal WWE Universe.
