Beats Audio Buys MOG

In a move almost completely out of left field, Beats Audio announced today that they have purchased music streaming service MOG. With a purchase like this, I would almost instantly expect to see an immediate marriage of MOG with Beats, and then a tight integration into HTC handsets, who own a majority stake in Beats Audio. This could also be a part of HTC beginning to look for stronger options to make it’s UX stand out even further amongst other Android vendors. The details of this deal haven’t been released in full just yet, but we’d expect that Beats and HTC paid a pretty penny to acquire MOG.
