Popular cloud storage service Dropbox announced the introduction of Dropbox Links, a free service aimed at increasing Dropbox’s presence in the file storage/sharing work space. The premise of the new service is simple, Existing users will now have the ability to share any of their existing content including files, folders, etc.with anyone that they’d like including non-Dropbox users. Once you create a link, your content is essentially opened in a full screen browser page by those you are sharing the content with, no extra software required, and better yet they don’t have to be downloaded.

Those of you out there who use Dropbox, could you see yourself benefiting from this? Or is it more convenient to use another type of service?
